About Rabbi Gail

Rabbi Gail F. Nalven officiates at weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs, funerals & unveilings, baby namings, and all other lifecycle events. Rabbi Gail specializes in creating a customized service, filled with warmth and spirituality, that is tailored to your personal needs.  

Rabbi Gail creates Jewish, interfaith, and same-sex lifecycle events and rituals special for you. Located in New York City, she travels throughout New Jersey, Rockland, Westchester, Connecticut, and beyond to craft unique ceremonies for your special occasion.

Ordained by the Jewish Spiritual Leaders Institute, where she currently serves on the faculty, Rabbi Gail was trained as a post-denominational rabbi. She has led services and taught classes in all of the major denominations and uses her experience to lead programs that are very accessible to all.

Rabbi Gail has an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Davidson School of Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. When she is not officiating at lifecycle ceremonies, she works as an educator in the New York area.
